The National Ice Centre and Capital FM Arena Nottingham are easily accessible. Please use the following information to finding our venue.

Road
There is plenty of city centre parking within distance of the NIC although there is no official car park connected to the venue. All the car parks are clearly signposted on the main approach roads. Metro Car Parks on Huntingdon Street has 250 spaces and is easy reach of our venue.

We’ve joined forces with NCP Stoney Street to offer our skaters savings on their parking of up to 82%! Customers can ‘park and skate’ – just get your parking ticket validated at our Box Office in the main foyer when paying for ice skating. This offer also means that you can wander into town after your skating and still receive the discounted parking off your total parking bill.

Rail
Nottingham Train Station is a 10 minute walk from the venue. Follow signs which direct you to the Lace Market and keep your eye out for grey signs which are dotted en route to the “National Ice Centre”. For timetable and fare information contact National Rail Enquiries on 0845 748 4950.

Northern Rail offers regular local and regional train services between Leeds and Nottingham. Click here to visit the Northern website.

Bus
Nottingham has two main bus stations, Broadmarsh and Victoria, each of which is a 10 minute walk from the centre. Again, follow the signs to the Lace Market and keep an eye out for the grey signs.

Tram
Nottingham’s state-of-the-art tram system passes really close to the National Ice Centre. The ‘Lace Market’ stop on Fletcher Gate is a three minute walk away. Trams run at least every 10 minutes until midnight (more frequent at peak times). In addition there are five free Park and Ride sites on the system. An all-day tram ticket costs just £2.20. Air
East Midlands Airport is a 45 minute drive from the venue. A shuttle bus service now runs every half an hour from the airport to the city centre at a cost of £3.50.

Taxi
Taxis are available outside the National Ice Centre on Lower Parliament Street and throughout the city at designated taxi ranks. A free phone connected to a local taxi provider is located in the atrium.
