The National Ice Centre has partnered up with Nottingham City Council to offer a number of free learn to skate courses to females aged 16+ to give local ladies the opportunity to learn a new skill …all part of the ‘This Girl Can’ campaign!
From W/C 11 May 2015, a number of free six week learn to skates courses will be free of charge to females aged 16+ on the following sessions:
Mon 7.30 – 8.30pm starting 11 May 2015 for 6 weeks
Wed 6.45 – 7.15pm starting Wed 13 May 2015 for 6 weeks
Thu 6.45 – 7.15pm starting Thu 14 May 2015 for 6 weeks
Sat 9.15 – 9.45am starting Sat 16 May 2015 for 6 weeks
Sun 9.15 – 9.45am starting Sun 17 May 2015 for 6 weeks
Sun 12.30 – 1.00pm starting Sun 17 May 2015 for 6 weeks
Skate hire and admission to the public session on the day of the lesson is included.
We encourage local ladies to give it a try and take advantage of the offer. The National Ice Centre offers a friendly and fun environment and no ice skating experience is necessary.
