Wednesday nights at the National Ice Centre are getting a whole new look! We’ve joined forces with Heart 106 to bring you a new experience in skating.

If you join us on the ice on a Wednesday night you’ll hear more music variety from the likes of Lady Gaga, Girls Aloud and JLS to Take That, Abba and Barry White brought to you by Heart 106.

You can also skate with the Heart FM Angels as we turn the lights down low and the feel good factor up high.

Listen to Heart 106 to win tickets for the opening night or enter our online competition right now. All you have to do to win a pair of tickets for the first Heart Wednesday log onto our Members Club and check out the competition section!

But if you’re not lucky enough to win tickets for the opening night, then tickets can be purchased on the night priced at £4.50 (excluding Nottingham school holidays) plus skate hire.

Head of Programming at Heart 106 Paul Iliffe said: “It’s great to be working with the National Ice Centre on Heart Wednesdays. At Heart 106, we focus on entertaining the whole family and the association with ice skating at the National Ice Centre is a great match. As the home of Dancing on Ice’s Emma Bunton we are a station with ice skating at our Heart.”

The session runs from 7.30pm – 10pm so this is the perfect excuse to grab your friends or family for a midweek skate.

Don’t forget to grab a bite to eat or a glass of wine in our T&D cafe Bar after your skate, which is open till 9.30pm.
