You’ve fed the monkeys at the zoo, learned to swim at the local pool and tried out the swings at the park and now you can lace up your skates at the National Ice Centre!
If you’re looking for a new activity to enjoy with your little ones, then why not try one of our Capital One Parent and Toddler ice skating sessions at the NIC.
Children aged between 18 months and five years (smallest skate size is a child’s size 5), can take part in a fun activity that can help build their confidence and increase their co-ordination.
Our expert coaches will be on the ice with you and your youngsters, along with lots of toys, so they will be encouraged to learn through play in a safe environment. Please note that the toys are only available for the parent and toddler session.
This gives you the perfect chance to join in your child’s development and experiencing the thrill of skating with them, afterwards you can then relax in our T&D’s cafe bar overlooking the rink to watch others skating or even watch some of the world class figure skaters practicing.

£6.50 parent and child (includes 1/2 hour lesson, skate hire for both and free access to the general session for both)

We recommend that you arrive 20 minutes prior to the session you are attending.
