All courses include a group lesson, skate hire and a free skate session on the day of your course. Simply pick a day and time that suits you for the next six weeks.

Booking and Re-booking
All course booking are taken on a first come first served basis and places are limited. Courses are non-refundable and non-transferable. Payment for all courses can be made by cash, credit or debit cards.

Progression after Skate UK
Skate UK teaches you the basics of ice skating. There are several different disciplines and the National Ice Centre can offer training in most of them.
You will nee to pass the following Skate UK grades in order to try the specified disciplines:
| Completion of Grade 4 | Entry to Speed Skating |
| Completion of Grade 5 | Entry to Junior Ice Hockey |
| Completion of Grade 7 | Entry to Adult Development Class |
| Completion of Grade 8 | Entry to Synchronised Skating |
After completing Grade 10 of Skate UK the next stage is Skate UK Star.
Skate UK Star
Skate UK Star is segregated into three disciplines:
- Figure Skating
- Ice Dance
- Short Track Speed Skating
Each of these consist of three levels:
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
Your coach will be able to advise which discipline is best for you.
