If you’d like to really impress your friends and family when you hit the Victoria Centre Ice Rink then why not sign up to one of the National Ice Centre’s six week Skate UK courses.
Our top coaches will teach you all the techniques you need to glide and slide with style whatever your age or ability. Each group tuition lasts for 30 minutes and you can then practice your new skills during a public ice skating session.
There’s 10 grades to pass so it’s time to get in training!

If you’re looking for a new activity to enjoy with your little one then why not try a Parent and Toddler session at the National Ice Centre.
Children aged between 18 months and five years old can take part in the fun sessions that help build their confidence and increase their co-ordination, expert coaches join you and your youngsters on the ice along with lots of toys and encourage them to learn through play.
Once you’ve finished, you can relax and unwind and watch other skaters (and maybe even Nottingham Panthers or figure skaters training on the ice) while enjoy a coffee or lunch in T&D Cafe Bar.
