GETTING HERE

Located in the heart of Nottingham city centre, the National Ice Centre is easily accessible by all methods of transport. We have partnered with several key transport organisations in Nottingham to offer great deals to get to and from our venue.

CAR

To travel by car, simply follow the brown tourist signs visible on all major routes into the city. Parking is available within just a few minutes’ walk. See our car park map for nearby car parks. If you park at NCP Stoney Street, please visit Skate Hire to validate your ticket and get a discount for the first three hours of parking.

TRAIN

Nottingham Train Station is a ten minute walk from the National Ice Centre or a very short taxi ride. East Midlands Railway operate regular trains to and from Nottingham, visit the East Midlands Railway for timetable and fare information.

BUS

Long-distance and local bus services operate into Nottingham’s two main bus stations; Broadmarsh and Victoria, which are a ten minute walk from the National Ice Centre. Several Nottingham City Transport (NCT) bus services drop you right outside the venue and Trent Barton has several bus services which run past us – visit their websites for timetable information.

TRAM

The nearest tram stop to the National Ice Centre is ‘Lace Market’ on Fletcher Gate which is only a three minute walk from the venue. In addition there are several free ‘Park and Ride’ sites in operation: Moor Bridge just off the A611 south of Hucknall, Phoenix Park just off the M1 at junction 26, Wilkinson Street just off the ring road in Basford and The Forest just off Gregory Boulevard.
