Save a fiver when you swim & skate!

Visitors who use the ice rink at the National Ice Centre or the pool at Rushcliffe Arena can now make great savings on skating sessions or swimming with over £5 off a family ticket at either venue.

Up to two adults and two children can now access swimming for £10, a saving of more than £5 when they pay for a skate session. Or, when purchasing a swimming session up to two adults and four children can then access skating for £5 each, a saving of more than £3 for adult and £2 for a child.

It follows a partnership between the National Ice Centre  and Lex Leisure where members and non-members alike can claim the discounted sessions to try out swimming or skating at two of Nottinghamshire’s great leisure venues.

Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Deputy Leader Cllr Debbie Mason praised the initiative between the partners by Rob Linthwaite at the Rushcliffe Arena and the National Ice Centre’s Sports Development Officer Matt Bradbury.

Matt Bradbury said: “We are so pleased to develop this partnership with Lex Leisure and Rushcliffe Borough Council to offer this scheme to our visitors. Whilst skating is a lively and fun activity, it is also a great form of exercise and we hope that it will give those who may have not tried skating before an opportunity to give it a go.”

Cllr Debbie Mason said: “It is great to be working with the National Ice Centre enabling adults and children alike who swim at Rushcliffe Arena to claim a discounted skating session.”

The promotion will run initially until 1 June 2019 with receipts valid for a month after purchase. Those wishing to take advantage of either offer simply need to ask a member of staff for a printed receipt when visiting either venue.
