Join us for Mini Movers, a fun session during term time designed especially for parents/carers and children aged 0 to 4, costing just £3.50!

Organised by The Renewal Trust, Mini Movers aims to encourage young children to get moving and discover new activities through play. Along with a skate on the ice (pushchairs welcome), the session will also include a story & ‘wiggle and jiggle’ time, off the ice of course!

The session runs as follows:
10:30am – 11am – Story time and wiggle and jiggle
11am – 11:15am – Get your skates on
11:15am – 11:45am – Skating and fun on the ice!

Ice skating helps to build resilience and confidence and children can develop their balance and coordination, as well as their social skills. Pushchairs can be used on the ice too so no matter what age or skating ability, everyone can enjoy the session!

There is also ice equipment available to use, as well as other toys and props to encourage skating. It’s so much fun!

Kaylie Bickle helps to run Mini Movers On Ice and says “it’s a great place for children and parents/carers to meet new people, in a safe and welcoming environment. The children can take their first steps on the ice in skates, or even in their pushchairs – whatever feels comfortable!”

Please note:
One place is for one adult and the children attending with you. Please ensure that your child is wearing suitable clothing for play activities and make sure to bring your own water/drink. Pushchairs can be taken on the ice at your own risk.
