Latest government update for ice rinks

During the national lockdown, ice rinks in England will be allowed to open for sport for educational purposes and elite athletes only.

What does this mean for the National Ice Centre?

We are open for the following elite sport activities only: GB Short Track Speed Skating, Nottingham Lions and Vipers ice hockey and some elements of the BIS Elite Training Pathway.

Unfortunately the National Ice Centre must remain closed for public skating, birthday parties, learn to skate courses and all other ice sports activities.

Our box office phonelines remain closed so please direct queries to [email protected] or message us via Facebook. It may take up to seven days for us to respond to your email as many of our staff remain furloughed so please bear with us.

In the meantime, we hope you’re well and would like to wish you a happy and healthy new year. Take care and stay safe, from all of us at the National Ice Centre.
